It was perscuzil to my mum. She connected with it and interacted with the volunteer - which is important.
As long as you have that rapport between people it improved. She looked forward to it.
Extremely good.
Could not be better. Lovely people - God bless them all.
Being waited on, very much appreciated. Gives me a break especially if I am in pain and having difficulty on that particular day.
Really good staffing - people here able to help.
Competence and friendliness of staff.
Quite remarkable.
Interaction with other patients.
Sense of security.
variety of exercises - e.g art, music, games, quizes, lots of fun.
Ambience: St Joseph's unique.
Space beautiful garden, chapel restaurant etc.
i enjoyed the physio sessions and massage when its available. there's been a couple of mix ups overbooking massage sessions.
I liked some of the activities though I felt some of them dragged on for several sessions but that's partly because I prioritised physio/massage sessions.
I sometimes found it hard to join in the afternoon sessions - couldn't always hear what was going on, though it was easier after a few weeks.
Physiotherapy help was outstanding and improved my health considerably. Crafts were fun and I made a pretty necklace. neals at lunch time were very good. I enjoyed meeting people in the same situation as myself. Staff were unfailingly kind. Help on attendance allowance and day care was much appreciated. I expected 12 actual attendances. My leaving date was left a bit vague.
My care was giving with love and understanding. Things could be improved by have more staff and more volunteers and donations. I would not have anything to get up out of my bed for , if there was no day hospice to come to, they pick me up once a week, I love all the care and attention I get at day hospice, help me cope with the stresses caused by my illness and provide me with enjoyable experience that lift my spirits.
